The 6-line wet wipe machine is capable of producing 90-sheet packs of wet wipes. Through six parallel processing stages and 15 layers of stacking, the wet wipes are organised into the specified quantity and prepared for subsequent packaging. It is suitable for the production of bulk-packaged wet wipes for household cleaning, personal care, and other applications.

This 6-stage wet wipe machine employs a multi-stage synchronised processing method, sequentially performing unwinding, folding, liquid application, cutting, and stacking of the non-woven fabric raw material, before the packaging system completes the individual packaging.

The key to the 90-sheet pack lies in the configuration of the stacking mechanism. Calculated on the basis of stacking 6 sheets at a time, repeated 15 times consecutively:

6 sheets × 15 cycles = 90 sheets per pack

This configuration combines multi-stage processing with automatic stacking, reducing the need for manual counting and sorting, and helping to ensure consistent quantities per pack. For bulk-packaged products, stacking accuracy directly impacts packaging quality and affects the operational efficiency of the entire production line.

Workflow of a 6-stage wet wipe production line:

Raw material unwinding and folding: The non-woven fabric is fed steadily into the processing area and folded according to the set specifications. Material tension and the folding position affect the dimensions of the wet wipes and the subsequent stacking results.

Quantitative liquid application: The amount of liquid applied is controlled according to the intended use of the wet wipes, the liquid absorption capacity of the non-woven fabric, and formulation requirements, ensuring the wet wipes achieve the required moisture content.

Cutting and automatic stacking: The continuously processed wet wipes are cut to the specified dimensions and then stacked 15 times by the stacking mechanism to form a stack of 90 wipes.

Automatic packaging and sealing: The stacked wet wipes are fed into the packaging unit, where the packaging film is formed, sealed, and cut, creating individual finished packages.

When selecting equipment, one must not focus solely on the production speed per minute; it is also essential to examine the coordination between the stacking mechanism and the packaging unit. As a 90-sheet stack of wet wipes is relatively tall, any unevenness in stacking, misalignment during conveyance, or the packaging mechanism’s failure to receive the product in a timely manner may result in packaging stoppages or product misalignment.

For the production of 90-sheet wet wipes, optimising the coordination of processing, stacking and packaging speeds is more important than simply increasing the operating speed of any single process. Only by coordinating the cycle times of the various mechanisms can waiting times and downtime during production be minimised.
