Customized Wet Wipes Production Line for Colombia

This is a fully automated wet wipe production line customised for a client in Colombia. It integrates processes such as non-woven fabric unwinding, folding, liquid application, cutting, stacking, packaging, labelling, and automatic lid application, enabling continuous production from raw material processing to finished product packaging.

Key Equipment and Production Process

The front end of the production line is equipped with a 12-roll non-woven fabric unwinding and folding system, allowing multiple rolls of raw material to enter the equipment simultaneously. After continuous folding, the material proceeds to the liquid application stage. A liquid metering system evenly moistens the non-woven fabric, after which an automatic cutting device forms the wipes to the specified dimensions, and a conveyor system completes the stacking and transfer.

The packaging section utilises fully automatic flow-wrapping and sealing equipment; once stacked, the wipes automatically proceed to the packaging and sealing stages. The equipment is fitted with photoelectric sensors for product positioning and features an automatic label/promotional sticker application device, reducing the need for manual labelling. Production and packaging parameters can be set and monitored via the PLC touchscreen.

Delta Robot Automatic Cap Application System

A key feature of this production line is the Delta Robot (spider robot) automatic plastic cap application system. Through high-speed gripping and placement movements, the robot accurately applies plastic caps to the wet wipe packages, enabling automatic integration of the capping process with the upstream packaging equipment.

The equipment underwent comprehensive factory testing prior to shipment to Colombia, covering processes such as non-woven fabric unwinding, folding, liquid dispensing, cutting, packaging, labelling, conveyor positioning, and the Delta Robot capping process. The configuration of the entire production line can be further customised to suit different wet wipe sizes, packaging specifications and production capacity requirements.
