Economical High-Efficiency 12 Lane Wet Wipes Machine
The 12-channel wet wipe production line is an automated system that integrates non-woven fabric unwinding, folding, liquid application, slitting, packaging, labelling, and capping into a single unit. It suits wet wipe manufacturers looking to increase per-machine output and reduce manual labour.
12-Channel Configuration and Core Equipment
This wet wipe production line employs a 12-channel synchronous processing configuration. After the non-woven fabric enters the machine from the unwinding unit, it is divided into multiple production channels where continuous folding takes place. Compared to single-channel equipment, the primary purpose of the multi-channel design is to increase product output per unit of time, rather than simply increasing the speed of any single processing stage.
Once folding is complete, the automatic liquid application system adds liquid to the wet wipe material according to preset parameters. The amount of liquid applied must be adjusted in accordance with the size of the wet wipes, the absorbency of the material, and the product formulation, in order to maintain a relatively stable liquid content in each pack.
Subsequently, the slitting mechanism cuts the continuously folded wipes to the specified dimensions, after which they enter the cast-film packaging machine. The packaging equipment is responsible for film forming, product bagging, heat sealing and cutting, transforming the wipes from a continuous production stream into individually packaged products.
The entire line is also equipped with a dual-station promotional sticker/label applicator, as well as a Delta high-speed robot (Spider Arm) automatic lid-placing system. The robot performs lid picking and positioning through high-speed reciprocating movements, thereby reducing positional deviations caused by manual lid placement and ensuring that the packaging stage keeps pace with the speed of upstream production.
PLC Control and Continuous Production
The equipment utilises a PLC touchscreen control system, allowing for the centralised setting of production parameters and real-time monitoring of operational status. Operators can manage modules such as unwinding, liquid application, slitting, packaging and robotics via the human-machine interface, thereby reducing coordination issues arising from the separate operation of multiple devices.
From a process perspective, this production line integrates Unwinding → Folding → Wetting → Cutting → Flow Packaging → Labelling → Lid Application into a continuous production process. For high-volume wet wipe orders, the focus of this equipment configuration is not on increasing the operating speed of individual workers, but on reducing manual intervention through 12-lane parallel production and automated packaging.
Consequently, when evaluating a 12-lane wet wipe machine, one should not only consider theoretical production capacity but also make a comprehensive assessment taking into account wet wipe dimensions, folding methods, packaging specifications, liquid application accuracy, and actual operational stability. For factories requiring continuous production and seeking to reduce labour costs, a multi-station automated structure is generally better suited to standardised, high-volume wet wipe products.
